Bamboo Serving Tray - The Art That Comes to Your Table
These aren't just trays.
They're a piece of Country. A moment of culture, carried into your home.
Every Dreamtimez tray is printed with original Aboriginal artwork — purchased directly from the artist, with ongoing royalties paid from every single sale.
When you bring one of these trays into your home, you're not just buying something beautiful. You're sustaining an artist's practice. You're honouring a story that has been told for tens of thousands of years.
Meet the Artists
Navy — This stunning artwork is called "My Country" by Janet Golder Kngwarreye.
Black — This artwork is called "Community" by Maureen Hudson Nampijinpa.
Janet Golder Kngwarreye — My Country
Janet Golder Kngwarreye was born at Utopia, Northern Territory. Her language group is Anmatyerre.
Her artwork My Country is a stylised aerial view — as if you are looking down on the land itself.
Look closely and you'll see the circles: campsites where families gather. The U-shapes: people, seated together in community. Woven through it all — bush tucker, bush medicine, plants for basket weaving, rivers for water, and the sacred meeting places where dances are held and culture is passed on.
This is a joyful painting. A painting full of life, connection, and belonging.
It is Country as Janet knows it — from the ground up, and from the heart.
Maureen Hudson Nampijinpa — Community
Maureen Hudson Nampijinpa's artwork Community speaks to something universal — and something deeply, specifically Aboriginal.
The U-shapes you see are people. Standing together. Within family. Within community. Within Country.
The circles are the camps and meeting places — the heartbeat of culture, where relationships are built and maintained, where stories are shared, where people know they belong.
This is a painting about what it means to not be alone. About the strength that comes from standing together.
Ongoing Royalties Paid - Always.
Every tray sold pays ongoing royalties directly to the artist.
Not a one-off payment. Real, recurring income — from your purchase, to the hands that created the art.
Elegant Enough for Any Table
Whether you're hosting a dinner party, setting out a holiday spread, or simply making a Sunday afternoon feel special — this tray brings something more to the table.
The 30cm trays are made with bamboo and melamine, tough and sturdy yet light for serving. Slightly raised edges keep everything in place. The spacious surface lets you arrange food the way you want it. And the artwork beneath it all tells a story your guests will ask about.
Built to Last, Easy to Love
Made from durable, food-safe materials.
Dishwasher safe. Not suitable for the microwave. Designed to move seamlessly from kitchen to table.
Ideal for entertaining, buffets, and outdoor gatherings.
Stackable Storage
When the gathering's over, your trays nest together cleanly. The stackable design means they take up minimal space in your kitchen — just beautiful trays, ready when you need them.
A Tray That Tells a Story
Use it for drinks and appetisers when friends arrive. For breakfast in bed on a slow morning. For displaying something beautiful on your coffee table when the meal is done.
The round shape works everywhere — no awkward corners, no wasted space. The raised edge catches spills before they happen. The smooth surface wipes clean in seconds and the trays are dishwasher safe, making cleanup effortless after every occasion.
Sturdy enough for daily use. Beautiful enough to display when it's not.
Organise With Intention
Beyond the table, your tray keeps your home in order. Group candles and plants on your ottoman. Arrange toiletries on your vanity. Corral remotes in the living room.
Wherever it lands, it brings calm, beauty, and a story worth telling.
